Set your course for all things strange and join Walt Disney Animation Studios this autumn for Strange World, a journey into the unimaginable. The feature will debut in our universe on November 23, 2022, just in time for the holidays. The animated film’s protagonist, Searcher Clade, will be voiced by Jake Gyllenhaal (Spider-Man: Far from Home).

The family’s black sheep, Searcher, chose a completely different path from the others. Searcher, who comes from a long line of daring and adventurous explorers, decided to get his hands dirty in a different way: as a farmer. In Strange World, on the other hand, Searcher must cooperate with his family to complete a dangerous mission. When Searcher steps outside of his comfort zone, he is astounded and intrigued by the mysterious alien world that surrounds him, according to Collider.

However, a new teaser shows the Clades, a famous explorer family, in action as they embark on their perilous journey. The teaser begins with a grainy, old-fashioned black-and-white movie that sets the tone for the odd and mysterious environment. A sweep of colour erupts over the screen, displaying some of Strange World’s innovative, vibrant, and simply beautiful critters. The Clades go to the farthest reaches of space and time, marvelling at their discoveries while avoiding danger. After the debut of Disney’s next motion picture Lightyear, which will enter theatres later this month, the new animated film will be released. Strange World is Gyllenhaal’s second animated film, following his role as Jim Prescott in DreamWorks’ Spirit Untamed last year. The rest of the voice cast has yet to be revealed, although more information is likely to be revealed before the film’s premiere. On November 23, 2022, Strange World will be launched.

Our seven major figures, including a shaggy dog peeping out at the viewer and a small blue blob joining the group’s astonishment at the world before them, stand at the bottom of the poster, facing off into the unusual world before them, to underline this sense of adventure. The’strange world’ itself is the focus of the image, with many alien creatures wandering on floating islands and a frightening curled-up tentacle lurking in front of them, preparing to uncoil.
