Actor Johnny Depp is starting a new collaboration with musician Jeff Beck just two days after winning a defamation case against ex-wife Amber Heard. He’s working on an album with Jeff and even joined him on stage during a concert to perform alongside him. With Johnny by his side, Jeff made the announcement about their joint enterprise.

According to Deadline, Jeff announced that he and Johnny will collaborate on an album next month. Previously, the two had cooperated on a cover of John Lenon’s song Isolation. After Johnny’s victory, the two were also seen at a pub in Newcastle. According to Deadline, musician Sam Fender has also joined them.

Johnny joined Jeff Beck onstage again, this time in London’s famed Royal Albert Hall, just one night after making a surprise visit at Jeff Beck’s gig. Jeff addressed the crowd, saying, “I met this guy (Johnny) five years ago and we’ve never stopped laughing since. We actually made an album. I don’t know how it happened. It will be out in July.”

Johnny and Amber married in a very private ceremony at their Los Angeles home in 2015 after dating for several years. Amber filed for divorce from Johnny on May 23, 2016, and a temporary restraining order was issued against him. She said that during their relationship, Johnny had physically mistreated her, and that it was generally while he was under the influence of narcotics or alcohol.

Johnny won a high-profile slander case against Amber last week. Johnny was granted $15 million in damages by the jury. Amber also won a portion of her libel action against Johnny, which was based on articles in a privately held newspaper in which Johnny’s former lawyer called her domestic abuse claims a fake. Amber Heard was awarded $2 million in damages by the jury.
