Season 3 of The Boys is now available to watch on Amazon Prime Video

The Boys

Originally set to premiere on Friday, June 3, Amazon Prime Video’s smash series The Boys has arrived early on the streaming site and is available right now. The first three episodes of the series are available to watch now, with more episodes arriving weekly after that (as Amazon Prime Video wants to do, new episodes will likely stream early on Thursday nights for any fans who can’t wait).

With 28 reviews as of this writing, The Boys season 3 has a perfect 96 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes with a “Certified Fresh” certification. “What’s remarkable about The Boys as a series is that each season has never felt starkly different from what came before it, each batch of episodes truly playing like the next collection of issues in a larger narrative, but at the same time has never gotten stale,” we wrote in our review of the series. Season one of the show received an 85 percent rating and was labelled “Certified Fresh” by the review aggregator, while season two received a near-perfect 97 percent rating.

The following is the official Amazon description for the new season: “It’s been a peaceful year. Home landers have been subdued. Butcher works for the government, and is overseen by none other than Hughie. However, both men have a strong desire to turn this peace and quiet into blood and bone. As a result, when The Boys learn of a secret Anti-Supe weapon, they smash into the Seven, causing a conflict and following the legend of the first Superhero: Soldier Boy.”

Karl Urban, Jack Quaid, Antony Starr, Erin Moriarty, Dominique McElligott, Jessie T. Usher, Laz Alonso, Chace Crawford, Tomer Capon, Karen Fukuhara, Nathan Mitchell, Colby Minifie, Claudia Doumit, and Jensen Ackles are among the cast members of season three of The Boys.

The Boys will be available on Amazon Prime alone. The current cost of an Amazon Prime membership in the United States is $14.99 a month or $139 for the entire year, or $7.49 per month or $69 for students. Alternatively, instead of getting Amazon Prime with all the extras, you can pay $8.99 per month for an Amazon Prime Video subscription. If you live in the United Kingdom, Amazon Prime costs £7.99 a month or £79 for a year. For £5.99, you can get an Amazon Prime Video membership.
