Prime Video has announced that the second season of its comedy thriller series The Outlaws will air on the streaming service on Friday, August 5th, following its November renewal. Along with the news of the series’ comeback, Prime Video has also revealed brand-new photos from the second season, giving fans a sneak peek at the impending sequel season.
The second season follows up a few months after the conclusion of the first, and while their sentence still needs to be served, the criminal underworld hasn’t given up on The Outlaws. The Outlaws features a group of diverse personalities who are forced together to serve community service in exchange for a felony sentence. When one of the misfits in this group is drawn into the realm of organised crime, the rest of the group must join together to take on the criminals.

The official synopsis for Seoson 2 reads, “Following on directly from the first series, The Outlaws still have time to serve on their sentences – but now they must face the fallout from their actions. If they thought the criminal underworld or the local police were done with them, they are sorely mistaken. The Outlaws must depend on one another while working with unlikely allies to atone for their sins – but can they save themselves without sacrificing their souls?”

The Outlaws is a Big Talk and Four Eyes production developed by Stephen Merchant , who also serves as the series’ director, writer, and executive producer. Luke Alkin, Kenton Allen, and Matthew Justice via Big Talk and Elgin James are acting as executive producers on the series alongside Merchant. The Outlaws is a BBC One and Amazon Studios co-production, with BBC Studios handling global distribution.
