Emily in Paris, Netflix’s popular comedy-drama series, began filming on Season 3 on Wednesday.
After sharing a photo of herself with co-star Ashley Park on her Instagram account, the 33-year-old revealed that she has begun filming season three of the extremely successful Netflix programme Emily In Paris.
From a Parisian street corner, the daughter of Phil Collins was spotted posing with Ashley, who will celebrate her 31st birthday on June 6, with the caption: ‘Reunited in Paris!’ ‘Let the filming of Season 3 begin!’
The sitcom follows Collins as Emily, an American who relocates to France after an unexpected employment opportunity at Savoir, a French marketing agency. It is set and filmed in Paris. In the quest of love and job success, she struggles to adjust to her new surroundings and must battle to overcome cultural conflicts and linguistic hurdles.
With a cropped grey sweater, black jacket, and a brown scarf looped around her neck, the 5’5″ diva looked street cool in a pair of jeans and boots.
Ashley was similarly fashionable with a white suit, thick-soled sneakers, a white crop top, and a grey belt. She wore square wire-rimmed spectacles and carried a black crossbody bag.
Since its premiere in 2020, when millions of people across the world fell in love with Emily’s pursuit for success and amour as a member of a Parisian public relations agency, the Netflix comedy has been a fan favourite.
Season three has yet to be announced, since production on the romantic comedy is just getting started.
In the meanwhile, Lily and Ashley have taken advantage of the series’ stylish cachet. In a recently released video from her cooperation with Cartier for the jeweller’s Clash de Cartier campaign, the Les Miserables star looked incredibly fashionable.
Meanwhile, Ashley shared a video from a campaign she did in New York for Max Mara eyewear on Instagram, stating, ‘NYC you have my coeur.’ Emily in Paris stars the Broadway grad as a singer trying to break into the industry.
She also showcases her stunning voice in flashback moments on the Peacock sitcom Girls5eva, which follows a former girl group as they attempt to make a return after a long absence from the music industry.
Emily in Paris has already received a fourth season renewal. Season 3 has yet to be given a release date by Netflix.
