After nearly three years without new episodes, you had to wonder if Stranger Things Season 4 would be a success. Waiting three years for anything is a long time. Stranger Things was last updated on Netflix in 2019, months before the outbreak began. Will fans recall what happened? Would it matter what occurred next?

By breaking the record for the highest ever debut weekend of “Bridgerton 2,” “Stranger Things” season four volume one has become the most viewed English-language series on Netflix.
The Duffer Brothers’ sci-fi series returned to Netflix after a three-year hiatus with seven episodes. The second volume, which will contain two episodes, will be released on July 1.

Season four of the Duffer Brothers’ iconic sci-fi series was viewed for 287 million hours during the week of May 23-30, according to Netflix’s freshly published Top 10 rankings, arriving at No. 1 following its premiere on May 27, said Variety.
Stranger Things’ four seasons returned to Netflix’s Top 5 titles for the week of May 23-30.

Season 1 of Stranger Things, which first sneaked back into the Top 10 last week as fans rewatched the series in anticipation for Season 4, came in third with 28 million hours viewed.
Season 3 came in fourth place, with 24.2 million hours, and Season 2 came in fifth place, with 22.2 million hours.
Bridgerton Season 2 received 193 million hours of viewing over its first weekend, which was March 21-27. Bridgerton Season 2 became the most-watched Netflix English-language TV title in its opening weekend in Netflix history, with its outstanding three-day viewership setting a new record for the streaming service.

“Stranger Things 4” now owns the title, having surpassed the previous mark by over 50%. The fifth and final season of the series, which debuted on the streaming service in 2016, has already been renewed.
