As the trial of Hollywood actors Johnny Depp and Amber Heard came to a close and jurors began deliberating, Elon Musk, the ‘Aquaman’ actress’ ex-boyfriend and CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, took to Twitter to comment on the situation. He called the two Hollywood stars “incredible” and urged for them to “move on” and accomplish better in life.Musk made the statement in response to a tweet that attempted to summarise the case’s details. The user, who goes by the moniker Lex Fridman on social media, tweeted,“My takeaways from Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard trial: 1. Fame is one hell of a drug (for some). 2. Psychiatrists & lawyers come in drastically varying levels of skill. 3. Lying to millions of people is something humans are capable of. 4. Love can be messy. 5. Mega pint of wine.”

According to rumours, Amber and Elon dated for a short time after her breakup with the ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star. although in some accounts, it is said that they dated for a year before breaking up in 2017. During the trial, however, Johnny’s lawyers claimed that Amber began seeing Musk immediately after her divorce from her husband in 2015.Johnny’s lawyers had also submitted video of Amber’s ‘late night meetings’ with Musk throughout the trial. However, when the millionaire was requested to testify in court, he declined and stayed away from the drama.Elon’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, told NBC that his client ‘will not be testifying’ in the defamation trial, in response to the high-profile case.

Johnny Depp and Amber Heard dated for a while before they tied the knot in 2015. However, their marriage ended in 2017. Following the divorce, Heard wrote an op-ed in 2018 for the Washington Post claiming that she was domestically abused. Although Depp’s name was not mentioned, the aftermath of the op-ed led to Depp losing acting roles. He famously lost his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the Pirates of the Caribbean.

Heard in return counter-sued him for $100m. The trial has been broadcast with several details about their relationship making headlines. The trial has massive public attention with snippets of the proceedings going viral on social media.
