During the show’s 19 seasons, the sitcom star has made a total of 20 appearances.After joking on her high-profile divorce from Brad Pitt on Thursday’s “Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Aniston had Ellen’s audience in stitches. The 53-year-old actress began her appearance by slow-dancing with Ellen DeGeneres to Donna Summer’s “Last Dance.”During the interview, Aniston revealed that she, too, felt a little strange when her renowned 10-season comedy, Friends, came to an end.

As a throwback to her first appearance on the show, when she handed Ellen a “Welcome” mat, she brought in a “Thanks for the Memories” mat.Aniston then dropped the divorce bombshell after the 64-year-old comic asked how she handled the “Friends” finale in 2004. She pointed that after the finale she needs to set her life straight “Well, I got a divorce and went into therapy,” Aniston joked. “Oh! And then I did a movie called The Break-Up. I just kinda leaned into the end.”She added, “I just was like, ‘You know what, guys? Let’s make this a completely new chapter.”“Let’s end everything,” Ellen quipped to which Aniston stated, “Let’s just end everything and then start new.”“It worked out!” the talk show host noted with Aniston adding, “It worked great!”She was referencing her highly publicized split with Pitt in 2005, after they were married for four and a half years. Their marriage had reportedly ended on ugly terms after Pitt, 58, allegedly cheated on Aniston with Angelina Jolie, with whom he’s now embroiled in a fierce custody battle following a split.

Although,according to her”Brad and I are buddies” Aniston said in a 2021 episode of the “Howard Stern Show.” Despite their rocky relationship, she claims there is “no oddness” between her and the “Benjamin Button” star. The ex-couple has been renowned for keeping a cordial friendship. For those unfamiliar, Aniston and Pitt began dating in 1998 and married in 2000. Though their rare public appearances provide a light of hope for fans hoping for a reconciliation, ET just spoke with a source about the two and their probable relationship status upgrade. After more than a decade of divorce, the insider claimed that such a scenario was not in the cards, as the two maintain a cordial and friendly connection.
