The upcoming 12-episode series, starring Lee Jin-wook (Bulgasal: Immortal Souls) and Lee Yeon-hee (The Package), will follow a couple in their thirties as they prepare for their wedding day. As a loving, elderly couple passes her on the street, Kim Na-eun (played by Yeon-hee) muses, “What would it be like to get married?” Her friends begin to inquire if her lover Jun-hyeong (Jin-wook) has proposed, cautioning her not to be the first to bring up the subject of marriage in a relationship.

The teaser shows the couple’s romantic bond, yet Jun-hyeong looks to react uneasily anytime Na-eun brings up the subject of marriage. As she considers the next step in their relationship, she begins to worry whether he is hesitant to marry her. Song Je-young and Seo Joo-wan directed Welcome To Wedding Hell, which was written by Choi Yi-rang. The first episode will broadcast on May 23 on South Korean OTT platform KakaoTV, with additional episodes following on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. In some areas, it will also be available to view on Netflix.
