Amber Heard recently testified in her ex-husband Johnny Depp’s continuing defamation trial, and the actress reflected on her early connection with Depp and how it blossomed while they were on the set of Rum Diary. Heard also told the court that she had been nervous and intimidated in previous relationships with both of them. In court, the actress detailed the first time Depp allegedly stuck her, as well as subsequent instances of physical aggression and his drug use. Heard claims that the continuing trial is the most traumatic experience she has ever had.

Amber claimed that filming one of the film’s romantic sequences together was amazing. “It didn’t appear to be a typical scene. It felt genuine.” She then remembered an incident that occurred in Depp’s trailer and said,  “He kind of picked up the back of my robe with his boot and I kind of turned around and giggled … He kind of playfully pushed me down on this bed, sofa. Playful and flirtatious. And he said, ‘Yum.’ And kind of lifted his eyebrows up like that.”

Amber Heard also mentioned another episode from the Rum Diary press tour, in which she and Depp sat on the couch and talked over a glass of red wine, and he kissed her and she kissed him back. She remarked, when asked about their relationship at the time, “We fell in love. We were travelling around talking about this movie that we participated in together. We spent the night together in my hotel room and for the rest of the press tour.” Amber also described the occasion in which the actor reportedly struck her for the first time in her evidence, saying she will never forget it. The Aquaman star admitted that she thought Depp was taking cocaine at the time, and that there was a “vintage jar of cocaine” in the room.

Recently, Amber Heard sacked her whole public relations staff after becoming irritated with the bad news coverage surrounding her defamation suit against ex-husband Johnny Depp. According to reports, the actress took the drastic action because she was ‘upset’ by the headlines surrounding her defamation trial against ex-husband Johnny Depp. U defamation action between Depp and Heard has been ongoing on the outskirts of Washington, DC, since April 11.
