On Sunday, BTS member Jimin released his first-ever OST, With You, for the K-drama Our Blues. Jimin’s friend and Wanna One member Ha Sung Woon also appears on the track. The song video was posted on YamYam Entertainment’s YouTube page. The song appears in the sixth episode of the K-drama. “With You” had already flown to No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs rankings in at least 100 different regions in just four hours and 42 minutes, making it the fastest song ever to do so. BTS’s “Dynamite,” which took about eight hours to reach the top of the iTunes Top Songs charts in 100 different countries, previously held the record for fastest song to reach the milestone.

The song only got an hour of Korean chart tracking and ten hours of international chart tracking on Spotify and Apple Music. Nonetheless, as earlier reported ‘With You’ defied the odds and did exceptionally well on its first tracking day. On its first day, Jimin and Sungwoon’s ‘With You’ broke several records, including becoming the fastest Korean OST to reach No.1 on Japan and UK iTunes, accumulating the highest number of 1’s for any song in the first 24 hours on iTunes history, becoming the fastest Korean OST to reach No.1on Japan and UK iTunes, becoming the longest-charting Korean OST at No.1 on UK iTunes. With You’ not only broke records on international music platforms on the first day of release, but it also topped the domestic charts in South Korea.

The song is about heartbreak and desire and is sung primarily in English with one portion in Korean. Actors Shin Min-a and Lee Byung-hun star in the song, which was shot on Jeju Island. “I wanna be with you and I wanna stay with you, Just like the stars shining bright,” Jimin sings at the outset of the song’s lyrics. By merging their enchanting and sweet honey-laced vocals on With You, the duet perfectly expressed the theme of love, desire, and heartbreak. Fans, worldwide media, celebrities, and the general public have all expressed their admiration for it, praising its vocals, and some even claiming it to be the ultimate wedding song.
