Zack Snyder’s new project with Netlfix ‘Rebel Moon’ is under production. And according to reports in The Hollywood Reporter, the cast of the show includes Cary Elwes, Corey Stoll, Michiel Huisman, and Alfonso Herrera. It is unknown how the other actors will be portraying their roles in the film but Elwes will be portraying the king of the galaxy. As part of the cast, they join Charlie Hunnam, Djimon Hounsou, Doona Bae, Ray Fisher, Rupert Friend, Stuart Martin, and Sofia Boutella in the lead role.
Plot
A Peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy that is threatened by the armies of a tyrannical regent named Belisarius. Desperate, the colonists dispatch a young woman (Boutella) with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from neighboring planets to help them make a stand.
There are plans to split the film project into two parts, so it will be a really exciting time for the fans of Zack Snyder. The production will last until November. Zack Synder is also the co-writer of the film along with Shay Hatten and Kurt Johnstad. He has also directed Army of the Dead for Netflix which was quite successful. It also got a sequel Army of Thieves. Elwes is known for his work in films like The Princess Bride, Saw, and Black Christmas and a Cameo in Stranger Things season 3.
Corey Stoll is most recognized for the role he played in Ant-Man as Yellow Jacket, but he has also appeared in West Side Story and The Many Saints of Newark. There are a lot of excellent actors in the cast of Rebel Moon and it should make for an exciting Sci-fi interplanetary adventure that is thought to be Netflix’s reply to movies like Star Wars.
