Marvel Studios Tuesday released the trailer for their upcoming and one of the most anticipated web series Ms. Marvel. This series will introduce a new MCU character in the form of Iman Vellani’s Kamala Khan, a young girl who is a big fan of ‘Captain Marvel ‘. The trailer introduces us to Kamala Khan and her journey of becoming a superhero. The story is about a Muslim American teenager who wants to be like her hero ‘Captain Marvel ‘.
Announcing the Series Marvel Studios on Twitter wrote ” The Future in her hands. Ms. Marvel , an Original series from Marvel Studios starts streaming June 8 on @DisneyPlus. ” This is the second announcement from Marvel this week for a web series other one being “Moon Knight” staring Oscar Isaac which is set to be released on 30,March,2022.
The cast includes Asian and American actors like Mohan Kapur, Nimra Bucha, Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, and Travina Springer. The producers for the series, are Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso and Ali serve as executive producers.
The song in the trailer is from The weekend, a Canadian singer’s album After Hours and the song is “Binding Light “.Ms. Marvel made her comic debut in 2014, created by G Willow Wilson, artist Adrian Alphona, and editors Sana Amanat and Stephen Wacker.
The Series is set to release in June 2022, on Disney+. Earlier it’s was announced, that the series will release in 2021 but it was delayed due to Covid -19 pandemic.The blockbuster series will be available in English, Hindi,Tamil,Telugu, and Malayalam languages in India said the streaming services.
