As of Sunday, the COVID-19 rises to 500 million and 6 million deaths. According to a report published by John Hopkins Coronavirus Resource Center, a total of 10.7 billion vaccine doses have been administered so far in the world.

As the cases in the U.S. are going down, caused by the Omnicorn variant, multiple countries in Europe are showing an increase in COVID-19 cases raising concerns for another global surge. John Hopkins’s report showed that The United Kingdom, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, and Itlay saw a rise in COVID-19 cases. The European surge could also be caused by the conflict in Ukraine, after thousands of people fled to save their life causing densely crowded shelter.

The WHO(World Health Organization) also warned that the conflict may cause a surge in COVID cases causing more deaths and suffering, earlier this month.

China has also seen a rise in COVID cases in the past week causing the administration to order lockdowns in the city of Changchun and closed schools in Shangai.
