A massive Russian military convoy approaching Ukraine’s capital, Kyiv, has “largely dispersed and redeployed” according to satellite pictures captured by a US business.
The convoy was last observed at Antonov Airport, north-west of Kyiv, and its presence might indicate a fresh drive against the capital. Maxar Technologies, the company that took the photographs, stated that sections of the convoy were in positions in nearby towns. Other areas are further north, with artillery now in position to fire.
The alleged redeployment occurred as Russian soldiers in Ukraine began hitting additional locations around the country:

According to local officials, three air attacks occurred, striking a small shoe business, an apartment complex, and a kindergarten.
This city is densely populated with heavy industry, including a rocket factory. There is a metalworks nearby, but there is no clear military objective.
Dnipro has been braced for this since the beginning of the war. All of the bridges and important roadways in this area are highly fortified. Residents have become used to fleeing to subterranean bunkers when sirens ring.
Nonetheless, the city has served as a safe haven for individuals escaping places under prolonged Russian onslaught.
Residents here have begun to leave in recent days, as shown by massive lines for evacuation trains and highly packed highways west of town. Now that the city has been directly impacted, I expect more people to consider fleeing.
“Ukrainian big cities are again subjected to devastating blows,” Ukrainian presidential adviser Mykhaylo Podolyak stated. He went on to say that the shelling in Lutsk had forced the closure of two central heating facilities.
“Russia’s destructive war against civilians and major cities continues,” he stated.
Russian state media announced that Russian-backed separatist fighters had taken control of the Ukrainian city of Volnovakha.
There has been no independent confirmation of the city’s capture, which serves as a northern access to the beleaguered port city of Mariupol.
President Volodymyr Zelensky has denied Russian assertions that Ukraine produced chemical weapons or weapons of mass devastation. In a televised speech, he also warned that if Russia used such weapons against Ukraine, it would face “the most severe sanctions response”
The US previously stated that Russia’s accusations that Ukraine is home to US-backed chemical weapons facilities were a “false flag” meant to legitimize Russia’s probable deployment of such weapons.
Russia has asked the United Nations Security Council to convene an emergency meeting on Friday to discuss the suspected manufacturing of biological weapons in Ukraine.
