Spider-Man: No Way Home is still breaking box office records over a month after its premiere. The film is presently the eighth-highest grossing picture of all time, after becoming the first to gross over a billion dollars during the pandemic era. Given that it is still on the air in a number of countries throughout the world, it may move even higher on the list.

Despite the fact that theaters throughout the world are gradually closing owing to mounting Omicron cases, Tom Holland’s film No Way Home continues to make money. It has has grossed $668 million in North America, surpassing blockbusters such as Titanic and Jurassic World. According to trade analysts, it may wind up exceeding the $700 million threshold there.

With $1.53 billion in worldwide box office receipts, it has surpassed The Avengers as the highest-grossing film of all time. Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame are the only two superhero flicks that have been out before it. As a result, it is currently the highest-grossing solo superhero picture of all time.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe dominates the top 10 highest-grossing films of all time (not adjusted for inflation). With the addition of No Way Home, the MCU now has four films in the top ten, with Avengers: Endgame (at #2), Avengers: Infinity War (at #5), and The Avengers  (at number 9). The film Avatar, directed by James Cameron, is at the top of the list, with about $3 billion in box office receipts. Titanic, another of James’ blockbusters, is at number three.

With No Way Home’s inclusion in the top 10, the list is now entirely made up of live action films. Disney’s Frozen II had momentarily shattered the stranglehold. It is ranked 11th with a total gross of $1.45 billion. However, there is a children’s film in the top 10. With total profits of $1.65 billion, the live-action adaption of The Lion King is ranked seventh on the list.

No Way Home is expected to rise to the sixth slot, according to trade analysts, because to its fast pace and lack of competition from other new releases. It remains to be seen if it will be able to surpass the $2 billion level.
