Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson announces he’s wrapped voice-over sessions on the upcoming DC Extended Universe film, DC League of Super-Pets. While eyes are on Matt Reeves’ The Batman, the multiversal Flash movie, Shazam! Anger of the Gods, and Johnson’s long-anticipated presentation as Black Adam, Johnson will likewise voice Superman’s canine, Krypto, in DC League of Super-Pets scheduled for a release on May 20, 2022. As its title suggests, the enlivened film will zero in on the pets of renowned DC superheroes. In addition to Johnson, its star-studded cast includes Marc Maron as Lex Luthor, Kevin Hart as Ace the Bat-Hound, Keanu Reeves, John Krasinski, Vanessa Bayer, Kate McKinnon, Natasha Lyonne, and Diego Luna.

Johnson as of late took to Instagram to report a wrap on his voice-over sessions for the Seven Bucks Productions-delivered DC League of Super-Pets. In the behind-the-scenes video, Johnson records a portion of the other super-pets who will show up in the film, including Flash’s turtle, Green Lantern’s squirrel, and Wonder Woman’s pig before, again, hyping how Black Adam will change the progressive system of force in the DCEU. Check it out below:

It’s worth focusing on that the film’s official summation mentions Krypto teaming up with a flying feline, so Streaky the Supercat (Supergirl’s pet feline) will probably show up as well. Both DC League of Super-Pets and Black Adam—which wrapped filming back in July of this current year—will release the following summer. Subsequent to being attached to the screw-up Teth-Adam/Black Adam for very nearly 10 years, Johnson will finally show up in an origin film set to debut on July 20, 2022. Dark Adam will likewise star Pierce Brosnan, Aldis Hodge, Noah Centineo, and Quintessa Swindell as members of the Justice Society of America.

While DC League of Super-Pets is outfitted towards more youthful crowds, Black Adam is said to put its nominal person’s ruthlessness on display. Jaume Collet-Serra has contrasted Johnson’s Black Adam performance with Clint Eastwood in Dirty Harry. Ironically, reports point to Johnson’s longing to see his DC screw-up go toe-to-toe with Henry Cavill’s Superman, and presently he’s set to play the Man of Steel/Super Boy’s canine. It’s anything but a stretch to say that Johnson’s introduction to the DCEU will have as large an effect as James Gunn’s ala The Suicide Squad and Peacemaker; spearheading a new section for Warner Bros./DC Film’s universe. Ideally, fans will get real trailers for DC League of Super-Pets and Black Adam within the following several months.
