The production of ‘House Of The Dragon’ has stopped due to COVID-19 case

The impending prequel for Game of Thrones named House of the Dragon, has halted production in the UK for two days because of COVID-19. According to a statement released by HBO, a “Zone A” individual among the cast and crew was introduced to the disease, in this way contracting it. The production for House of the Dragon, is set to forge ahead Wednesday, July 21. The halt in production comes at when fears regarding the coronavirus are on the increase. The UK government of course, has completed most remaining COVID-19 limitations, recalling the mandate for wearing masks.

The new show stars Matt Smith as Prince Daemon Targaryen and Emma D’Arcy as Princess Rhaenyra Targaryen. The cast of the series will also consist of Paddy Considine as King Viserys Targaryen, Eve Best as Princess Rhaenys Velaryon, Steve Toussaint as Lord Corlys Velaryon, Olivia Cooke as Alicent Hightower and Rhys Ifans as Otto Hightower. Martin and Ryan Condal will fill in as co-creators on the series.

Miguel Sapochnik and Condal will run the show, and the pair will also fill in as leader makers along with Martin, Vince Gerardis, Sara Lee Hess and Ron Schmidt. According to THR, House of the Dragon is one of six Game of Thrones related prequel reaches out as of now underway at HBO. The force source also reports that a stage show for Broadway/West End is underway and will feature new actors playing the characters from the original series. Place of the Dragon is slated to release sooner or later in 2022.
