Canadian Government Announces Easing of COVID Travel Restrictions Ahead Of Toronto Film Festival

The Canadian government has revealed that they will be easing the travel restrictions for people coming from the United States before the Toronto International Film Festival. The Canadian government also announced that fully vaccinated people from the USA will be allowed in the country without having to quarantine themselves which is at present mandatory.

Deadline reported that Canada will allow fully vaccinated U.S. inhabitants to enter the country beginning at 12:01 a.m. on August 9 without having to quarantine for around 14 days. The borders will open to fully vaccinated persons beginning September 7. It is mandatory for all new travelers to show proof of vaccination which shall not exceed exactly around fourteen days preceding appearance up in the country or they should quarantine as indicated by regulations. The vaccines taken by them have to be authorized for use in Canada; so far that summary joins vaccines from associations like Pfizer, Moderna, AstraZeneca or Johnson and Johnson.

The Toronto International Film Festival is set to happen in September, the festival will continue to go for 10 days from September 9-18.
