As per The Hollywood Reporter, discussions for the production of ‘The Tomorrow War’ sequel have already been initiated and fans may expect an official announcement soon. The sci-fi alien invasion movie is based on the plot where humanity is on the verge of extinction in the future at the hands of a cannibalistic alien race called Whitespikes. The end of humanity can be prevented only if humans from the year 2021 join hands with the humans from the future (2051) in an all-out war against the aliens. The film starred Chris Pratt Yvonne Strahovski in the lead roles.
In the sequel, it is being reported that Chris Pratt will once again be helming the lead role and plans are being developed to rope in Chris McKay, Zach Dean and stars Sam Richardson, Yvonne Strahovski, Edwin Hodge, Betty Gilpin, and J.K. Simmons. Though an official announcement is yet to be made fans are already hyped about the sequel.
