And now, the Texas boy is focused on Dallas with a hard pitch: Convincing the city to decriminalize marijuana. Willie says that decriminalization is one step closer to bringing about a more just and equitable society.

Nelson recently shared in an interview his frustration with the old laws concerning marijuana. He said that these have long been outdated, which disproportionate harm does on people of color. "It's time for Dallas to get with the times," Nelson said. "Decriminalization is the right thing to do."

There is Nelson, who has been advocating for legalization after coming from firsthand experience. The singer has not been secretive about his consumption of the drug for medicinal or recreational purposes. He feels the plant can bring relief from anguish and help someone relax.

"I have seen firsthand the benefits of marijuana, such as it being a natural medicine for people and can treat so much stuff, easy to relax, have fun," said Nelson.

Nelson is quite popular among cannabis users because he is the most vocal about decriminalization of marijuana. He has spoken on the topic on several occasions while giving interviews or sharing his thoughts on the social platforms, which is understandable because he believes it should be handled more or less like alcohol.

Besides advocacy, Nelson has invested in the cannabis industry. He has launched his personal line of marijuana products, including CBD oil and flower. He believes the cannabis industry is an opportunity for creating jobs, in addition to boosting the economy.

While Nelson's efforts have placed the issue of decriminalizing cannabis into the spotlight, it only remains to be seen whether Dallas will act. For after all, it's long known that Dallas is not one of America's progressive cities-that the First Amendment activities happening there are too often stifled.

However, at the same time, there is also growing consensus to decriminalize. Recently, there has been a poll conducted in the city, and it was found out that the majority of the Dallas residents are in support of the proposition. If the city were to make marijuana legal, this will be a trend of a city or a state that has made similar bills pass.

I hope Dallas will decriminalize marijuana someday, Nelson says. He believes it's a matter of justice and common sense. "It is time for Dallas to embrace its future," Nelson said. "Decriminalization is the way forward."

Willie Nelson is an ardent marijuana decriminalization advocate in Dallas. He feels that the laws concerning marijuana are centuries old, and thus harmful to society. His advocacy work has pushed the awareness of the issue to the point where this has found its way into growing support for the decriminalization of marijuana. Despite all the opposition against the measure, support for it is picking up. Decriminalization of marijuana in Dallas would be a giant leap toward a just and fair society.
