Wizards Of Waverly Place Star Might Return For The Sequel

It appears that Jake T. Austin will be making a comeback in the Wizards of Waverly Place spinoff series Wizards.

The Russo siblings, Alex (Selena Gomez), Justin (David Henrie), and Max (Austin), were the focus of the original series, which followed them as they attempted to lead regular lives in New York City while studying magic from their father, David DeLuise, a former wizard.

The new series will center on Justin's new family, but although Henrie and Gomez were spotted in behind-the-scenes pictures, it is still unclear whether Austin will be playing the same role in the series finale.

Jake T. Austin has now posted a tale on his official Instagram account that seems to have been taken from the Wizards of Waverly Place set.

The picture displays a sign that says "TO SET" and has a pointing arrow on it. Austin wrote, "And so it begins... #day1," as a comment for the shot, which appears to suggest that he is there when the show's filming gets underway because his post corresponds with the production schedule.

Although it appears like Jake T. Austin will play Max again in Wizards, it's unknown how many episodes will showcase the legendary character's comeback.

Although Henrie is officially a member of the show's main cast, the other regular cast members are brand-newcomers to the Waverly Place setting.

The other cast members who have been announced include Janice LeAnn Brown as the magician Billie, who appears to be unrelated, and Mimi Gianopulos as Justin's wife Giada and Alkaio Thiele as their kid Roman.
