With 200 episodes under its belt, The Blacklist has returned to NBC for its ninth season, with new episodes airing weekly beginning October 21st, 2021.

Here's when season 9 of The Blacklist will be released on Netflix, with the program slated to complete by the end of May.

Raymond Reddington, played by James Spader, is a former criminal turned FBI informant who has helped the government apprehend a slew of high-profile criminals over the years.

Since the show's launch, Netflix has broadcast it in numerous territories (more on this below), reputedly paying up to $2 million per episode.

Season 9 premiered on October 21st, 2021, and was notable for the departure of the series' creator, Jon Bokenkamp.

Season 9 of The Blacklist will consist of 22 episodes, with the season finale airing on May 27th.

Don't fear, the show's future is safe, since season 10 is in the works. You'll have to wait till the end of season 9 plus a few months beyond that to watch Netflix in the United States and Canada.

Season 8 was added on Netflix in the United States on October 6th, 2021, while the whole season was removed from the NBC app on October 22nd, 2021.

Before Season 8, all previous seasons were available on Netflix Canada and the United States in September.

Season 8 is still absent from a few more territories, including some European countries and Latin America. Season 8 should be released in 2022, with Season 9 following in 2023.
