The delay in the release of Hobbs & Shaw 2 is due to several factors.

The Fast & Furious franchise now boasts ten full-length features, one spinoff, one animated series, and two short films, so it’s evident that it has enough content to rule Hollywood for a very long time.

Dominic Toretto and his family keep coming up with inventive ways to carry on, even after two films where the Fast and Furious saga might have finished wonderfully.

On the other hand, the Hobbs & Shaw spinoff series seems to have hit a wall after just one film.

The creation of a Fast & Furious movie world took a significant step forward with the release of Fast & Furious Presents Hobbs & Shaw.

Luke Hobbs and Deckard Shaw, two of the many appealing characters in the franchise, are a formula for movie office success, and happily, for the spinoff, they lived up to the expectations.

However, when Hobbs & Shaw was released, the Fast Saga continued with F9 and Fast X, as well as preparations for the conclusion of the main franchise with Fast and Furious 11, all without making any work on Hobbs & Shaw 2.

Many Fast & Furious fans are happy to hear that Hobbs & Shaw 2 is still going to happen.

The cast and crew appear eager to get started. But several things are stopping the project from finishing.

Hobbs & Shaw had a more problematic past than its financial success implies, from Johnson’s availability due to other projects to much-publicized dispute with the rest of the Fast & Furious family.
