In their comedy series Trying on Apple TV+, Nikki and Jason have now shown that becoming a parent can be just as challenging as actually being a parent.
The lives of Nikki and Jason, a couple who only want a child, are followed in Trying. However, they have trouble getting pregnant, and when the chances of success with IVF become too remote to justify the high cost, they decide to look into adoption.
But the couple faces a number of difficulties as they embark on their new parenting journey and attempt to prepare for the adoption panel.
Will the pair be able to persuade the adoption panel that they are suitable to be parents despite their chaotic lives, eccentric pals, and dysfunctional families?
