Ginny Weasley (Bonnie Wright)

Ginny Weasley, who appears far less feisty in the movies than she does in the books. It's unfortunate since along the course of the books, Ginny develops into a strong, self-reliant member of Harry's friend group.

Charlie Weasley

While Charlie Weasley isn't as cut from the Harry Potter films as Peeves is, he almost certainly is. Charlie appears in the movies just once, in the scene while the Weasley family is on vacation in Egypt.

Dobby The House Elf

Important plot points that show how Dobby's personality grows over the series are omitted from the films. The majority of the House Elf scenes from the books are left out of the movies, along with Barty Crouch's Winky and the Elves doing labor in the Hogwarts kitchen.

Dudley Dursley

Given how crucial a role it plays in the conclusion of the book, the TV adaptation ought to try to depict Dudley's development.

Voldemort

In the Harry Potter films, Ralph Fiennes played the legendary character Voldemort. However, because of his extravagant portrayal, it can be challenging to take the evil seriously.

Ron Weasley

Rupert Grint is an excellent option for the role of Ron, but even so, the actor is unable to get past the writing choices that reduce Ron to the status of a passive-aggressive sidekick. Ron is a beloved character by fans because of his comedy and fierce loyalty, neither of which are adequately portrayed in the films.
