Tony Danza, a sitcom legend, has been cast as himself in And Just Like That season 2.

The Emmy-nominated actor has long been a cherished fixture in the history of American television.

His acting career began in 1978 when he portrayed Tony Banta on the television series Taxi

He remained on the show for all five of its seasons, from 1978 to 1983, co-starring with Judd Hirsch, Danny DeVito, Marilu Henner, and Andy Kaufman.

He started acting in an even more popular sitcom called Who’s the Boss, which lasted from 1984 until 1992, almost immediately after that one was taken off the air.

With the characters from the two sequel movies to the successful HBO series Sex and the City, And Just Like That is a relaunch in and of itself.

After losing her husband Mr. Big (Chris Noth), Carrie began dating her podcast producer; Charlotte substituted for her child and celebrated her own Bat Mitzvah.

While And Just Like That season 2’s specifics are still closely guarded secrets, a lot may be inferred from this casting news.

Given that Che’s show is gaining such a significant star, it is possible that their show will be successful, which will necessitate Miranda making a decision regarding whether to return to her life in New York or remain in California permanently.

It seems unlikely that the show would permanently cut her off from her co-stars, thus Che and Miranda might be splitting up.
