You're not the only one if you enjoy watching movies that focus heavily on exciting action scenes.

The Uncharted movie has received a lot of attention and has just risen to the top of Netflix's list of the top 10 films.

Of course, a lot of people have already seen Uncharted. The domestic theatrical office for the Tom Holland-starring video game adaptation was $148.4 million.

However, the movie's arrival on Netflix on July 1 allows it to reach a whole new audience without charging additional admission fees.

The Uncharted movie, which caused controversy among fans of the Uncharted video game series when it was first revealed, is essentially the origin tale of Nathan Drake, the series' main character (Tom Holland).

The young Drake in the game is a street-smart pickpocket moonlighting as a bartender, far from the seasoned treasure hunter.

Then Victor "Sully" Sullivan, a real treasure hunter, approaches Drake about joining his team (Mark Wahlberg).

Sully, who claims to have been working with Sam Drake, the missing brother of Drake, is searching for Ferdinand Magellan's lost riches.

Unfortunately, they have to locate it ahead of the cunning Santiago Moncada (Antonio Banderas), a descendent of Magellan who thinks he is entitled to the treasure, which is said to be worth $5 billion.

Uncharted now has a 41% rating on Rotten Tomatoes because to the negative reviews it received from critics.

The consensus states that the picture "mines its bestselling source material to deliver a lacklustre echo of superior adventure flicks, Uncharted" has a strong cast but a misleading title.
