Thor: Love and Thunder has released a new image which has confirmed that the forthcoming Marvel film is connected to Moon Knight and Wakanda Forever

Another character appears in what appears to be a panther-like costume at the lower right of the image.   

The Parliament of Pantheons, which is essentially a fancy meeting of the Gods, is the most likely location for the two main heroes.   

Considering that’s what’s being represented in this photograph, they’re probably assembled to discuss Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher, who would have likely already slain a few targets.  

Perhaps assembling a large number of Gods in one location isn’t the best idea when a highly powerful fanatic is on the lookout for those particular Gods.  

Fans quickly speculated that this could be Bast, the Egyptian god who appears in Moon Knight and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.  

Bast is a member of the Ennead, a pantheon of Egyptian gods introduced in the Disney live-action series Moon Knight. 

Bast is also the goddess who guided the first Black Panther, Bashenga, to the Heart-Shaped Herb, the source of the Black Panther’s talents, in the Marvel Cinematic 

On July 8, Thor: Love and Thunder will be released in theatres all across the world. Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Thor (Chris Hemsworth) decides that his superheroing days are done and looks to begin a new chapter of self-discovery in the fourth instalment of the Thor franchise.
