This Stranger Things Actor Confirms Not Returning To The Season Finale

The final season of Netflix's Stranger Things won't feature Eduardo Franco's character, Argyle.

Speaking with Steve Varley on the Steve Varley Show, per What’s on Netflix, Franco was asked whether he could discuss whether or not his character would be returning for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things after fans noted he wasn’t in a cast photo that was posted earlier this week.

Franco answered, “It’s nice to hear that there’s, there’s some sort of, you know, concern or something, you know what I mean?  But I’ve never, I never got a phone call. So I think, yeah, I think that’s it.”

In the fourth season of Stranger Things, Franco's character Argyle made his debut as Jonathan Byers' (Charlie Heaton) pal who delivers pizza for Surfer Boy Pizza.

After military personnel invaded their home and freed Jonathan, Will, Mike (Finn Wolfhard), and Agent Harmon (Ira Amyx), he assisted Eleven in battling the malevolent force known as Vecna.

Production on Stranger Things Season 5 has begun. On January 8, 2024, Stranger Things Season 5 production got underway.
