One of Seth Rogen’s well-known comedies is currently dominating the streaming charts.

This is the End, a 2013 comedy, is near the top of Netflix’s Top 10 movie chart this week, according to Flix Patrol.

The announcement comes after it was revealed that Rogen’s R-rated animated comedy Sausage Party is also gaining popularity on streaming services.

This Is the End is one of Seth Rogen’s most well-known comedies. The plot revolves around fictionalized versions of the cast who have survived a global biblical apocalypse.

It’s a feature-length adaptation of Jay and Seth Versus the Apocalypse, a 2007 short film.

The 9-minute short film was co-written by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. Before working on the film with Rogen, Goldberg worked on the hit comedies Superbad and Knocked Up.

After wrapping production on the latter, Goldberg and director Jason Stone spent three weeks writing the script for Jay and Seth Versus the Apocalypse.

The short film’s principal photography began in September 2006 and lasted two days. In the first two weeks after the Seth Rogen comedy trailer was released on YouTube, it received over 50,000 views.

This is the End grossed approximately $101.5 million at the North American box office against a $32 million production budget.

Seth Rogen has also appeared in some award-winning films. He played Steve Wozniak in the Steve Jobs biopic in 2015. Surprisingly, he received no nominations for his work in the biopic.
