Chris Hemsworth and Natalie Portman rejoin for director Taika Waititi's latest Marvel picture.

Chris Hemsworth previously told fans that the new trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder will "blow your mind," and now they can see for themselves during Monday's NBA playoff game on ABC.

The trailer garnered over 2 million views on the Marvel Entertainment YouTube website within an hour of its release.

At San Diego Comic-Con in 2019, Marvel revealed the title for Love and Thunder.

Kevin Feige, the studio's president, said that Natalie Portman would be returning to the franchise for the first time since Thor: The Dark World (2013).

Jane Foster, played by Natalie Portman, will take on the role of Mighty Thor in the next film. Tessa Thompson returns as Valkyrie, and Christian Bale and Russell Crowe make their franchise debuts.

Chris Pratt and Dave Bautista, both from the Guardians of the Galaxy trilogy, will reprise their roles in the film.

Hemsworth becomes the first Marvel actor to star in his fourth solo picture with Love and Thunder. The character was last seen in Avengers: Endgame (2019), in which he was introduced as a dejected Thor who had failed to stop Thanos.
