Bas and Elite, two Dreamville artists who will “help players befriend J. Cole and win the hearts and minds of The City,” will appear in the MyCareer mode.
Cole joined the Canadian Elite Basketball League’s Scarborough Shooting Stars earlier this year.

On Thursday, it was revealed that J. Cole would be the face of NBA 2K23’s “Dreamer Edition.”
The game’s MyCareer mode, which launches on September 9, features the multi-talented artist.
In the US and Canada, GameStop is the only retailer carrying the “Dreamer Edition.”
NBA 2K is still the gold standard for exhibiting all things basketball culture, according to a statement from J. Cole.
“NBA 2K has long been the place to find fresh musical talent through their gaming,” he added.
This year’s game cover, which will be announced on September 9, will feature the Grammy-winning performer.
