James Gunn, co-CEO of DC Studios, is preparing to launch a new era for the DC Universe on Warner Bros.

Discovery, and the company just previewed what their future ambitions would entail.

With Gunn and Peter Safran joining up to lead DC Studios as co-CEOs, there have been a number of significant changes to how WB is creating its superhero movie world in recent weeks.

By drawing influence from its most immediate rival, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the duo will be able to create what they believe would be a unified and coherent DCU of films, series, and more.

With Black Adam, DC’s most recent theatrical release before four new films take center stage in 2023, fans may be able to observe the first indications of that regime change.

Following that, there is a completely blank slate for DC, and many people are curious as to what Gunn and Safran will be working on in their first few weeks of employment.

The new dynamic duo unveiled what’s in the works for the first time in one of their first public appearances after assuming their positions.

According to Deadline, DC Studios co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran attended a recent town hall meeting with Warner Bros.

Discovery CEO David Zaslav to discuss the new organization for the DC Universe.

This was the new DC leaders’ first open town hall gathering since their first announcement.
