Sylvester Stallone dispels certain unfounded rumours. Jennifer Flavin, Sylvester Stallone's wife of 25 years, recently stated that she had filed for divorce from him.
She said in a statement to People, "I love my family. We are amicably and privately addressing these personal issues."
Following her confirmation, many far-fetched theories on why the couple parted ways have started circling the Internet.
The most widely circulated rumour was that Stallone and Flavin split up because of a dispute over their pet dog.
They reportedly quarrelled over a new Rottweiler named Dwight, who Flavin did not want in the house and Stallone wanted to keep as "protection."
According to Page Six, the objection sparked a "very heated conversation that brought up other topics." Stallone was unable to remain silent after hearing the ludicrous charges.
The Rocky actor stressed, "We did not break the relationship on such a small quarrel," in a statement to TMZ.
He did, however, acknowledge that because they had two different houses and frequently travelled, they had different ideas about "how to care for the dog."
He went on to add, "I have the highest respect for Jennifer," he continued, "I will always love her. She’s an amazing woman. She’s the nicest human being I’ve ever met."
Regarding Flavin's tattoo on his bicep, which recently attracted the attention of the entire internet since it was covered with a dog's face, Stallone claimed that he had intended to "freshen" it up but "it got screwed up.
