Stranger Things 4 – which is now available on Netflix — is unquestionably greater than the previous instalments. Stranger Things season 4 episode 7 clocks in over 100 minutes, and nearly every chapter in the seven-episode Volume 1 is longer than 70 minutes.

The kids are more mature than ever because to the three-year break between seasons.

. I suppose some viewers may be taken aback by the fact that some of the actors have outgrown their roles.

Stranger Things 4 ends up using de-aging technology on teens for flashback scenes, which is generally reserved for older performers like Robert De Niro in The Irishman or Samuel L. Jackson in Captain Marvel.

Stranger Things 4 features more CGI monsters than the previous instalments, while also revisiting some classic horrors.

Early in the season, a new character wonders how they plan to destroy the big and terrifying new beast from Upside Down, which is inspired by Dungeons & Dragons once again.

Season 3 entrant Robin Buckley (Maya Hawke) points out that they've all been through something similar previously, some of them more than once.

"Mine was about human flesh, and theirs was about smoke," Robin explains. Stranger Things 4 is practically a parody of itself, with each season bringing a fresh craziness.
