Stephen Greif, 78, passed away. He was most recognised for his parts in Blake's 7 and The Crown. 

 His representatives Michelle Braidman Associates reported his passing on Twitter.

"With deep sadness we announce the passing of our valued customer Stephen Greif," the Associates stated on social media. 

His lengthy acting career featured a variety of roles in both film and theatre, including performances at the National Theatre, RSC, and the West End. 

His family and friends are in our thoughts as we deeply regret his passing.

Stephen's passing shocked his devoted coworkers, admirers, and family. 

 According to media sources, the cause of the eminent actor's passing has not yet been disclosed.

He was well-known for his work on Blake's 7 and The Crown, as well as for three seasons of the BBC sitcom Citizen Smith, in which he played Harry Fanning.
