The Guardians of the Galaxy group gets together for the holidays and tries to cheer up Chris Pratt's Star-Lord in the most endearing way in the trailer for The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, which has just been published.

Superheroes too could need a little holiday happiness.

The concept of The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special is endearing, and the first teaser for the upcoming movie is sufficient to convince you that it will be a joyride.

The picture brings the crew together for a never-before-seen adventure and stars Chris Pratt as Star-Lord, Dave Bautista as Drax, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Pom Klementieff as Mantis, and Vin Diesel as Groot and Bradley Cooper as Rocket.

The group will return for their third movie, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 on May 5 of next year, while The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special debuts on Disney+ Hotstar on November 25.

James Gunn, the franchise's director, announced earlier this year that the third instalment will be the last. The filmmaker also described how Chris Pratt, who plays the lead in the threequel, gave a speech to the crew on the final day of filming to bid them a tearful farewell.

The Guardians of the Galaxy franchise's third instalment, which was previously hinted to by actress Zoe Saldana, will be its best to date.
