Wright said in her statement, “For me personally I shall remember him as an abidingly loyal client. As well as being a wonderful actor, he was forensically intelligent, brilliantly witty and after 40 years of being proud to be called his agent, I shall miss him.”
Robbie Coltrane was also well-known for portraying a police officer in the British TV series “Cracker” with the same level of commitment that Harry Potter did.
In all eight of the Harry Potter movies, which were produced between 2001 and 2011, he portrayed the kind half-giant who serves as the child wizard’s mentor and companion. In the James Bond thrillers GoldenEye and The World is Not Enough, he also played a Russian mafia boss.
After 40 years of being honoured to serve as his agent, Wright said that he will be missed. According to Wright, Coltrane is survived by his sister Annie Rae, his former wife Rhona Gemmell, and his kids Spencer and Alice.
