In a heartbreaking Instagram post to his 69.4 million followers, Shawn Mendes said, "This aches my heart to have to say this, but sadly I'm going to have to postpone the next three weeks of gigs through Uncasville, CT till further notice."

The 23-year-old singer is taking a break to concentrate on his mental health. His Wonder The World Tour, which has 87 stadium concerts scheduled in North America, the UK, and the EU through 2023, was launched two weeks ago.

"Since I started touring at age 15, it has been challenging for me to be away from my friends and family.

I thought I was ready to get back on the road after a few years off, but that decision was hasty, and now I've reached a breaking point due to the pressure and cost of the road," Shawn Mendes admitted before adding

"After talking to my team and health professionals, I need to take some time to heal and look after myself and my mental health, first and foremost.

I'll let you know as soon as there are any new changes, I swear. I adore you guys."

Due of the COVID-19 epidemic, Shawn Mendes' Wonder The World Tour had to postpone the UK and EU dates until 2023.

Additionally, the Seorita singer revealed his vulnerability in a tweet from April where he acknowledged feeling "overwhelmed and overstimulated."

" Even when Justin Bieber recently disclosed that he had to postpone some of his concerts due to being diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, Shawn Mendes had already remarked on their devastating video collaboration for Monster: "I adore you a lot. I really admire you."
