The popstar-turned-actress was therefore questioned about unplanned meetings with other celebrities or stars when she appeared on Jimmy Kimmel's chat show.
With a story to tell that would make anyone smile, Selena Gomez couldn't contain her excitement and launched into a description of an embarrassing moment she had with Benny Blanco.
Everything took place at the Emmys. And it was none other than Jason Segal, the enormously popular star of "How I Met Your Mother."
That being said, Selena Gomez's meeting with her idol, Jason Segal, didn't go as planned. Selena Gomez stated, "Jason Segel just so happened to be at the Emmys, and he looked at me and started waving."
She then gave me an involuntary wave in return, saying, "Oh, hi!"
She continued by expressing her admiration for the show. This is a little awkward. I watch the same TV every night when I go to sleep, which is such an odd habit," she remarked.
Benny Blanco was there to make Selena Gomez feel ashamed as soon as Jason Segal got close to her and they started mingling.
