Season 4 of Stranger Things has a release date, and the episodes will be longer.

"Stranger Things" is a Netflix science-fiction horror drama series that premiered in July 2016.

It was created by the Duffer brothers and is based on a group of friends who live in Hawkins, Indiana, United States. After one of their pals, Will, goes missing, the kids are confronted with otherworldly talents and state secrets.

Stranger Things' third season ended in July 2019, and Netflix confirmed a fourth season soon after.

Despite the fact that the release date for season 4 has been established, it has been delayed due to the pandemic.

Season 4 of Stranger Things will be released in two parts, with volume 1 opening on May 27th and volume 2 premiering on July 1st.

Currently, there is barely any information but it will focus on Hopper being in jail in Russia and trying to escape and back home in Hawkins, the kids have been separated because of the Battle of Starcourt but will unite by the arrival of another supernatural force.

In a conversation during a podcast called “Present Company With Krista Smith”, creator Ross Duffer while teasing the arrival of season 4 said fans will be happy with it as it is very long.

Duffer added that this is the reason why it took so much time to create season 4, “I think they’ll be happy when they see it. It’s very, very long, which is why it’s taking us a very long time.”
