Samurai Rabbit: The Usagi Chronicles premiered on Netflix in late April 2022, based on the Stan Sakai comic book series Usagi Yojimbo.
We now know that the series will return for a second season, and even better, the next batch will arrive in September 2022.
The animated series was first ordered in 2020 by Netflix Animation, Atomic Monster Productions, Dark Horse Entertainment, Gaumont Animation, and 88 Pictures.
The first season’s ten episodes centred on Yuichi, a bunny youngster who had to link up with his loyal pals to defend the city of Neo Edo.
The series appeared in the kids’ top 10s in the majority of the world’s regions, according to top 10 data. It had a total of 19 days on the top 10 lists for children in the US before falling out
It was broadcast for 16 days in the UK. The Bahamas, Portugal, the Czech Republic, and Denmark are among the top contenders for the championship.
In the end, audience reviews were conflicting; it presently has a 57 percent RottenTomatoes rating and a 6.6 on IMDb
Many were quick to point out that the series isn’t as tightly related to the comics as some would’ve wanted, but others believed that it held its own.
One critic in particular made the statement that the series is amazing as an innovative exploration of Sakai’s world.
