Ryan Gosling, a Hollywood actor, has been mentioned as a potential good candidate to play Marvel's Nova in the rumoured live-action film.

The actor has reportedly put an end to the rumours, though. In an interview with Josh Horowitz, host of "Happy Sad Confused,"

The actor expressed interest in playing a different superhero but ruled out the option of playing a member of the Nova Corps.

"Ryan and I chatted about the Nova rumours yesterday which he said aren't true," Horowitz shared on Twitter.

Though there were little specifics, there have been rumours this week that Marvel Studio is working on a Nova project.

Eventually, it was revealed that the endeavour will manifest as a Disney+ limited series analogous to "Moon Knight." Sabir Pirzada, the author of "Moon Knight," is involved in the Nova project,

The 'Blade Runner 2049' star portrays Ken in the film, which is directed by Greta Gerwig based on a screenplay written by herself and Noah Baumbach.

He stars opposite Margot Robbie, who plays the titular character.

Plot details remain scarce, but the actress has said that the film's goal was to subvert expectations.
