After giving birth to a boy, Rihanna and the child's father ASAP Rocky go out to supper.
The pair dressed up and went out on Sunday night for a well-earned date night in New York City.
After Rihanna made her pregnancy public in early January, the couple delivered their first child in May.
Rihanna garnered attention for her maternity style during the duration of her pregnancy and was praised for maintaining her individuality despite being pregnant.
A source told People that Rihanna and Rocky have been spending time with their baby at home in Los Angeles since giving birth. "Rihanna is healthy.
"Rihanna is doing well. They are very excited to be parents. Rihanna is already a wonderful mom," they added.
Another person who is close to the couple said that they were assuming their new duties as parents with ease.
The insider disclosed, "Being a new parent is of course an adjustment, but they are doing great. Their baby boy is healthy and Rihanna is just in awe of him."
They continued, "She really was so excited to be pregnant. She loved it. Meeting her son was of course extremely special too."
As they stated that RiRi hardly ever leaves her son's side, the source also praised RiRi for being a "wonderful" mother.
