Record of Ragnarok’s first season gave the Netflix series an explosive start.
The anime has been given a second season because there are still more fights between humans and the gods to be had.
The anime producer for the show is Graphinica, who has worked on shows including Another World, Wonder Momo, and Hellsing.
A new image promising more of the divine battles to come in Record of Ragnarok has revealed its projected release window and announced its official return to Netflix with a second season!
Since those ambitions were first hinted at last year, word hasn’t spread much, but the second season has finally made a significant advancement.
The second season of Record of Ragnarok will premiere on Netflix sometime in 2023, according to the account’s official Twitter feed.
Some important literary and mythological characters will still appear, but only if the new episodes of the series are more successful.
Due to the way each fight was animated in the first season, it caused some extremely polarising reactions among fans, so there’s a good bit of worry that the new episodes would be repeating the same problems.
The first batch of episodes from the series are presently available on Netflix if you’re interested in seeing it before the second season debuts there next year.
“Finally, an anime adaptation of this wildly popular manga series with over 6 million copies in print will be released!
