HBO Max has picked up Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin for a second season. T

The 10-episode first season of the show, which debuted in July, is described as a coming-of-age, horror-tinged drama that takes place far from Rosewood, the setting of the original Freeform series created by I.

Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin was another horror series that captivated the hearts of genre fans, even though the majority of them were focused on a group of teenagers unravelling the ongoing mysteries of The Upside Down.

Now it has been reported that the spinoff has been renewed for a second season at HBO Max.

It’s wonderful news as the series garnered largely favourable reviews in its debut year of horror.

This is primarily because Original Sin completely transformed the franchise into a slasher horror one.

Any fan of the genre would have felt at home in the series’ setting, which featured the traditional plot of a group of teens attempting to unravel a sad mystery from their families’ history.

The community of Millwood served as a living ode to movies like I Know What You Did Last Summer, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, and Prime Night.

The finest thing, though, was that the series’ nostalgic undertones were supported by the dark mystery surrounding “A” and the people who were the target of this killer.
