Kanye West seemed to return to Instagram after Pete Davidson and Kim Kardashian split to criticise the comedian with a post that included a photo of a newspaper with the title, "SKETE DAVIDSON DEAD AT AGE 28."
Fans were surprised by the message, which appeared to be Ye's most recent attempt at trolling Pete in response to his posts from earlier this year.
Kanye uploaded many Instagram posts criticising Davidson after the comedian and Kardashian made their relationship public earlier this year.
A source reportedly revealed to People how West's postings have affected Davidson's mental health
According to the source, Pete "has been in trauma counselling in large part" as a result of his threatening online statements.
The source further added, "The attention and negativity coming from Kanye and his antics is a trigger for [Pete], and he's had to seek out help."
The insider also said that Pete had no regrets about dating Kim Kardashian and that she had been there for him the entire time.
Pete just wants to concentrate on his profession now that he and Kim have broken up, a source told People.
After dating for nine months, Pete and Kim reportedly broke up last week. The couple's long-distance romance, which they attempted to continue despite their busy work schedules, has been blamed for their split.
