The Craig Robinson-led comedy series on Peacock has been given a second season’s worth of airtime.
On March 31, 2022, Peacock broadcast the opening episode; the rest of the season followed on April 14.
The showrunner of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Dan Goor, and his assistant Luke Del Tredici developed Killing it, and it was immediately ordered for a series in July 2020.
The story follows one underdog’s pursuit of achieving the American dream.
It appears that Craig, portrayed by Craig Robinson, may have taken on too much when he entered the Florida Python challenge.
In addition to python hunting, the comedy examines issues of class and capitalism.
In a separate joint statement, Goor and Del Tredici expressed how happy they were to have the second season approved.
“We are immensely grateful to everyone at Universal Television and Peacock,” Goor and Tredici said.
Rutherford Falls, Girls5eva, and Peabody Award-winner We Are Lady Parts are also included in the Peacock comedy programme in addition to Killing It.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Goor, who has been at Universal Television for years, now has two shows airing after Rovner also extended his NBC comedy, Grand Crew, for a second season last month.
