Sex Education, a critically praised coming-of-age Netflix comedy-drama, is preparing for its fourth season, which will begin production in July 2022.

The series has been given a season 4 renewal. Just three weeks after the season 3 premiere of the show, Netflix has verified this.

All eight episodes of the last season of the show debuted simultaneously on September 17, 2021.

Season 4 of the popular comedy-drama is not yet available on Netflix, although it is anticipated to debut sometime in the following year.

Every new season of the show has been released after a year has passed, therefore season 4 may arrive in 2023.

One significant character, Ola (Patricia Allison), the pansexual daughter of Jakob (Mikael Persbrandt), will not be appearing.

The 27-year-old actress said on Capital Xtra with hosts Yinka Bokinni and Shayna Marie that her character would not be returning for season four.

Patricia Allison responded when they questioned her about the reasoning for the choice.

Simone Ashley, the show’s primary actress, had disclosed that because to her prior obligations with the hit television programme Bridgerton, she would not be able to return for Sex Education Season 4.

Ashley announced that she will be back for Bridgerton Season 3 and that she was very interested in seeing how Kate’s tale would develop now that she had gotten married.
